SAEI I see that you have a few dogs of your own in this race. Good luck with your picks. (No pun intended) I found the articles interesting. They all seemed to be full of political meanderings and top heavy government involvement. Kind of like $1500 toilet seats funded with Soviet era toilet paper. The very idea of trucking ore 1250 kilometers for processing is hilarious. Gold was also a lot cheaper then and appealing to the gold purchasing practices of domestic jewelers was another gem.

Inefficiency seemed to be the big hurdle, not locating or digging. That is typical of government run operations complicated with too many interested parties all bidding for separate agendas.
(He did mention that the Romans used to wander around picking gold up off of the ground...Nice!)

Eastern Russian mining season is about over. I hope you don't intend to regale us with 13 year old horror stories all winter.

I did person mark you because you seem patient and like to dig. This is just not the placer for Siberian pitches. (pun intended)

I'm in a Gold Mining stock, 28.5 million in the float, shiny holes coming in, and tendered offers from all over wanting a piece of the action. Huge gains will be made from here and many surprises are in store for us.
