The Relief Series
Ever felt that there have been times when you could have done with some help but didn’t want to bother or worry anyone? Maybe you have thought that it wasn’t that big a deal but some information might have been helpful? The Trust’s Staff Advice and Liaison Service (SALS) can now offer you help and advice without needing to speak to anyone. SALS is able to offer a series of web-based self-help programmes called the ‘Relief Series’. You can access it at your own convenience and once you have logged on for the first time, you will have your own individual login and password. This means that everything remains completely confidential.
The Relief programmes are designed to help you to understand and manage a range of common problems. They can teach you well established skills and techniques to identify, motivate, monitor and self-manage for conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Stress and Insomnia. It also offers an online forum so that you can ask questions, see how others have found the programme, seek technical support if you have problems and offer your support to other users. They can be accessed via http://www.wmas.calmyou.com Use the activation code ‘wmasSALS’ to enter your chosen programme and create your own unique log-in and password. Please note: the generic log-in is case sensitive. Just click on the SALS logo on the front page of the intranet and follow the links. These are free and available to all staff.
