Bob and Jeff,
First, I'll let you know that I am an investor in ZVTK(3,010,000 shares two months ago now a little over 150,000), and yea not so happy with the current PPS and the RS. But no where near the really, really pissed off people like so many of the invested people are. It's a penny stock company!!!! Sh*t happens with them. I have 18 different stocks in my portfolio and only ZVTK and another are pennies. The other I sold off almost all my shares, still have 45, and made a 628% profit and a hefty chuck of cash. Its tanked in price recently and I am getting close to buying in again, because like ZVTK it has a tangible awesome product and should do well over time. Its hard to have a long position investing approach with penny stocks. If I sold ZVTK today for a tax write off, it would be only .6% of my total portfolio value, chump change. But am going to hang in their with you all, I only have another 725 dollars in value to lose and besides the tax rates maybe going higher next year for a better write write off or so says my CPA.
I bought in because, after doing a lot of research, I thought it was a great product with a lot of potential to sell and see an increase in the PPS, and of course my overall portfolio value. I still feel that way today. I really got excited when the board canned Engle and brought you in Bob as CEO. I am from CT also(go Huskies!!!) and as an engineer had heard of your stainless steel company and understand how this ion product works. Retired and come back in the business game at such a young age, I thought you must have done an excellent job with the stainless steel distribution company and know how to market and distribute a product and felt that ZVTK was in good hands, but have to say I am little confused(also have an MBA). Now granted I know that I do not have all the facts of the day to day operations and your business plan for Zevo but the financial reports do tell a lot, sorry if I am insulting your intelligence not my intent I am sure you are aware.
Here is the reason for my email. Today I had to go to a Hartford (Brainard Airport) area lighting distributor, which is also their corporate headquarters, to get a couple new fixtures. I have been going to them forever and they are huge and respected in this area. Thousands of lighting fixture displays and they rep every lighting company out there. As my salesperson was running around to try to fill my order I bumped into one of the owners and started chatting about this cardboard light bulb stocked display located by the checkout area and asked if it was put in by an independent person or was it something they bought and sold. The latter is the case. She asked me why the question and I begin to tell her that I am an investor in this company that has the rights to sell the ionic bulb. She had never heard of the ionic bulb. I begin to explain to her what the bulb is, its efficiencies, life stats, the infomercial's, how well it works, the Amazon reviews, the sell price and where it can be bought now, retail deal hopes, and on and on. I even told her about the UTube video that guy made with the bell jars in his garage and how the smoke disappeared in about 45 seconds. Bob, Jeff got to tell you she was enthralled with my pitch about the product. She excused herself and came back with pen and paper in hand and took down all the info I could offer. We must have talked for about 15 minutes. She was genuinely interested in the product and said she is going to follow up by hitting the web sites for more info and verification and potentially going to contact you all for a business discussion. If I was your sales rep I could have closed a deal right then and there, she was that interested.
Now I know that the bulb really got launched late last December with infomercial's and other marketing plans, but really have to wonder if it was that easy for me to almost close a sales deal how can you guys do sales like that with just 2 people in the office that are mentioned in the financial reports. This product should fly off the shelves like selling water to people in the desert. Yes, I know that you have set up relationships with companies that can assist in the sales/distribution efforts but if it was that easy for me are they really doing their job?
Guys I am not writing this email to try to tell you what to do or how to run the business, but merely to share my experience that happened today. Wishing you all the best of luck in your business venture and hope all works out well for all stockholders concerned. I have a great job and am not interested in selling this product. I invest in stocks to make money to buy my expensive toys, wife won't let me buy them any other way LOL!!!
If you would like to discuss this or other business items concerning the bulb further, please feel free to give me a call at XXX-XXX-XXXX or email me back. Thanks for your time.
Regards,
