I'd be one of those ridiculing conspiracy theories, and you can name me personally.  I will continue to ridicule them, which is generally all they deserve.  Too often, stock performance is deemed "bizarre" by persons whose expectations are not meet.  "Efficiency" doesn't mean getting the price you want and expect, and no one ever said the market was perfectly efficient anyway.  Sometimes life slaps you in the face, but stock market conspirators are seldom behind it.
