Really? Where did you get this stupid information?
Maybe before pontificating in front of unsuspected
audience, you should do a little study?

PCI Express defines links that are made of Lanes.
Each link can be 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, or 32 Lanes wide.
EACH LANE runs at 2.5Gb/s rate, or 400 ps per bit,
or about 250M_BYTES/S per Lane. Therefore, maximum
bandwidth is 250x32=8 GigaBytes/second.
