Where there's smoke there's fire and I can't help but add my contribution to these exchanges. There is definitely interest and buzz going on with Spencer Pharmaceutical. Many people are focusing on the drug but the real news is in their drug delivery application patents. Developing new drugs is important however drug formulations and delivery applications is just as important-ask any one of the giant pharmaceutical companies how many scientists they have working on improved drug delivery systems and formulation improvement. They spend millions of dollars on this and have departments, labs and scientists within their research and development working on this at any given time. Spencer Pharm's focus is on newly patented formulations of existing drugs and improved drug delivery applications. FDA doesn't need to approve the drug, just the improved delivery system which would account for a faster turnaround time than submitting for a new drug.
