My friends that work in construction arent buying they are making due with what they already own. Their savings are diminished because of lack of work. Their houses have lost value. The houses they use to build arent being built. Most people arent doing remodeling. My friends that own a carpeting company have been forced to close their showroom. I dont know what people are seeing as positive - my buddies arent bullish.
