Solid post dude! That's why in my mind I try to separate DD into two categories:

"The hard, tangible facts and data"

"What the crowd is saying"

Now, what you have elaborated on in your post has more to do with "what the crowd is saying" and less to do with the former.

And the fact of the matter is that "what the crowd is saying" CAN and IS a standalone MOVER OF STOCKS......but never for very long. Think of that aspect as gasoline to a fire.

The hard, tangible facts and data reported on PS and some other places is more like wood...and with the right wood a fire can burn hot and long.
