The Quest offshore spreadsheets from Oct and AUG posted by nh [thanks] state JDZ blocks 3 and 4 are now totally owned by Sinoaddax and ERHC. No mention of the other partners. If amj's statement that the information on these sites is supplied by the operator is true then Sinopec is now stating the minority owners have been bought out.

It is very interesting if true. Sinopec leaked the JDZ block 2 discovery and the now consolidation of JDZ blocks 3 and 4.

The evidence above suggests Sinopec wants to move forward with the block development. Maybe the release of the information means Sinopec is telling the Nigerians and the STPer's they are moving forward on its terms not the Africans. Perhaps the extension of Phase 1 drilling puts more pressure on the Africans for additional concessions.

Trovoda surprise trip to Nigeria to redynamize the JDZ almost certainly was an attempt to speed things up in the JDZ. STP is one of the poorest countries in the world and just does not have too many chips to play in the deal.

I do not think they can keep a lid on this much longer with Sinopec ignoring the JDA and making JDZ information public.JMO Obviously the above is all conjecture on my part. Its just my opinion and an effort to make sense out of the sparse information we have. Farrell
