Yes. Some stocks trade at 10 times the earnings per share, and others at many times that. It is a way of valuating a stock. Since the majority of the cost of silver extraction is done by creating fertilizer, assumptions have to be made.Several quarters of financial information would be required to do this correctly, but one can always assume some of the final costs. The excersize is worth the effort, and fun besides. Keeps the brain active. Ha!
