Miamimice is either lying or Veltex is a scam.

I believe there is no escaping that one of the above has to be true.

If Veltex is a scam, it could still be better than what Miamimice believes it to be. I would say best case if Miamimice is telling truth would be something like $5 million revenue company, not $100 K which might be true but not best case.
