This could get interesting. If I am reading this right, the SEC voted on a rule that will require HFT shops to route their trades through their Broker Dealer's. Apparently the Broker Dealers had let them have direct access to the exchanges using the Broker Dealer's codes. They have roughly 8 months before it is enforced.
