As the Bankruptcy phase of Chemtura winds down I would like to take the time to say some thanks. Personally I had known this company for years based on a friend’s ownership of Crompton Knowles stock since the 60’s. I purchased shares when it went into Bankruptcy and started reading boards trying to find out about the Bk process. I am not going anywhere except maybe trying to find a new stockhub to try and make coin.
The first thanks have to go to Jaxstraw. I actually started reading him over on another board and his comments led me to this board. He was and is very forthright in his analysis and willing to help by answering the most mundane questions with politeness and professionalism. While I have not met him face to face he is a true friend to all of us on this board and a lover of one of the greatest bands of all time.
Second thanks have to go to Madclown. This guy used his knowledge and put it out there for everyone. He created a BLOG that had simple investors, bankruptcy court and hedgefunds consulting it for analysis and facts. If you messaged him, he would answer you back, usually late at night, I do not think the guy sleeps. He was the compass in the storm and truly a guiding light. His knowledge of BK and Accounting was a great help to all.
Third thanks have to go to Wallstreet61. This guy was as hard a fighter and SOB as you will ever find. He single handily took this stockhub to an Equity Committee position. He was always on this stock hub giving his opinion and statements about BK and his knowledge made the stock hub the place to read about CEMJQ. He could rub everyone wrong, but he also believed in right and tried with his actions to create the best CEMJQ.
Fourth thanks go to the Chemtura guys in the field. Arkansas was a great place where several people with contacts to Chemtura. It was great to hear what was being said to employees and suppliers. While we did not always like what they were telling us that management said their comments were spot on for accuracy.
4.5 thanks have to go to Venu and Oaps and others that worked tirelessly trying to find what the true value of this company was and is. There knowledge of the chemical industry was great for figuring where we related to other specialty chem. Companies.
Fifth thanks go to RJH and other chartist on this board. We watched some great arguments about fundamentals, charts, and BK but their passion was appreciated and educational. While I am still green in charts, these guys would answer questions and point you in the direction to learn more.
5.5 thanks to Clay, it was always great putting a time in for the Clay Chart lottery. This guy does a fantastic job and while he sometimes was poked fun at, he was great and I watched everyone.
Sixth thanks go the rest of the longs. We had people from overseas and all over the US giving their dd and knowledge. This rag tag group united to form an Alliance that was monitored and feared at times by the debtors. Remember when Wallstreet’s messages from this board where admitted as evidence? While over the past 6 months this board has slowed, for over a year the data and DD that came out of this stock hub was fantastic. Many of you have been on here since the beginning and some have left, reentered or just bought in within the past couple of months. Thanks to everyone for your interest in CEMJQ.
6.5 Thanks to BBalls wonderful letter that you wrote back in September and hope the world treats you and your family well.
The debtors were submitting there revised final POR at 5pm today and since the other shares are trading as CVTRM, I think we will see CEMJQ start to wane. It has been a wild ride and thanks to all.
