hi racerdave, by placing the GTC parameter with your sell limit as high as possible you ensure the MM's won't borrow your shares to "play" short with the following day.
Once you make a purchase of a stock that is suspect of being shorted by the MM's it's advisable to "lock up" the shares, making them unavailable for the MM's to borrow against.
That's what I've recently learned and employed, appears to be working in the case of GWGO.
NITE, the major MM'er of this security is in a tight position because of their recent trading actions with GWGO.
