the feds have proven that they are incapable of stopping states of moving forward with MJ policy, they have proven it time and time again. currently MMJ is fed illegal and 14 states allow it, with 4 more pushing for it within the next year. and at least a few more are opening dispensaries, RI being one of them. the feds don't have the resources to stop this movement dead. they talk tuff cause they have too. currently their only busting the biggest and baddest, the ones that have shady dealings going on behind the front of a compassion center. i agree that the war on drugs movement(drug,alcohol,and tobacco companies)stand to lose alot of money and are trying like hell to keep MJ illegal but these companies aren't stupid,they have contingency plans. U can bet that their fat little fingers are poised to join the fun if this goes thru. i heard that marlboro actually had some sort of patent on packs of joints in case weed ever went legal. currently its believed that Johnson&johnson also has MJ patents.
