Good questions Bill. I don't know that I have any of the answers but thought I would give my opinion. I honestly believe the Lou is really looking out for Lou. And you can't blame him for that, we all have to look out for ourselves. I think most all of the longs here remember back when all the wi-fi radio hype was going on and Lou had his little rant on the air and said " I am IBCS". Pretty much stated that he was the one running the show. If that WAS the case, I don't think it is any longer. That rant by Lou could of very well caused some tension between himself and Daryn. I'm just guessing here but I know if I would of been in Daryn's shoes at the time, I would of been irate. Daryn just played it off at the time saying how Lou was basically a "shock-jock" and that is just the way he is, love him or hate him. Personally I feel Lou has alot going on right now and probably very little of it has to do with IBCS. Now as far as advertisers, yes Lou does bring in advertisers that play during his show, and I would assume that adds to the bottom line of IBC. But I don't know that for sure.
I have heard nothing about Lou being gone other than, as you said, from the idiot over at RB. If it turns out that he is gone, then we might understand why Daryn has been saying STL could go to 24 hours one day. But still, that's just me thinking out loud.
