Hey, great meeting! Came away feeling good they answered questions, but can't be specific about time lines. Will be more specific later, have a few pages of notes. Meeting some shareholders now.

Smith you are a mover and shaker.

How wonderful for you to report back to us on what you heard from the meeting. You are awesome. I can't believe you actually went. Way to go. I would of love to have gone but, I could not break away from work obligations long enough to make it there and back.

Most of the management team was there,Anderson-the new board member, Mckenzie, Barnhill, Gallagher, Nunn Daniel-securities lawyer ,McCarthy Mike, Norris, Madyastha R., Zhang H.and their IP attorney Elenor Musick. All made themselves available to speak with and answer questions for approximately 40 minutes before the meeting and 20 minutes or so after the meeting.

The Pfizer licensing agreement came about because of a drug that Pfizer had and wanted to do research on, because it was believed to be causing kidney damage. The licensing agreement is still in effect but the main researcher at Pfizer that wanted the technology has left. Same with Epigenomics they have gone in a slightly different direction since signing the agreement and the main researcher using SVM left.

They are looking for another licensing partner that is developing a BPH drug and could benefit by having a diagnostic test for use as a surrogate biomarker. The original company they were working with was bought out by a larger pharma which in turn was bought out by Merck. Merck has not opened negotiations.

The iPhone app, once negotiations are done and licensing deals signed, will have a three fold revenue source. The charge for the app, a fee for the risk assessment and lab that licenses the technology so that their doctors are the ones refered to the high risk patients. They have had Doctors over, from Australia, that are interested. In Australia 1 of every 2 people have a high chance of developing melanoma. Apple gets 30% of the price of the app, HDC will receive 70%. I think to download the app the price will be in the $10.00 to $18.00 range. This is my thinking from examples of apps Dr. Barnhill was speaking about to me.

I could not pin him down on a time line for the announcement of licensing partners for the colon or pancreatic tests. He explained that once they (HDC and The Pancreas and Biliary Center) have validation of markers, the licensing company would want to come in right away to do their own independent research and validation to have it be considered a LDT, if too much research occurs at another research facility they can not call it a LDT and then the test would need FDA approval. They are also building a valuable specimen bank working with The Pancreas and Biliary Center.

This is the case with Quest and Abbott, the agreements were signed after the first test that showed with as little as 50 cells in the urine that all four markers could be picked up. Quest and Abbott are doing all the validation and research.
He could not give any info on how far along Quest is or how it is going, he did say they came back in a year and signed another licensing agreement with a million dollar up-front payment that we have to read between the lines.
