I will wait until the PPS comes to me. No big hurry...
Keep in mind, every share sold short is going to have to be repurchased at some point.
The really cheap share are well worth waiting for. And I have strict financial limits that I won't exceed.
Since I am of Scotch descent I am required by my DNA to be as frugal as possible. And I really do love a sale. So if the buying drys up the PPS is going down.
Shorting a stock like this is an irrational practice anyway. So once the shorters start they likely won't quit until they are burned out. Shorting usually works well when there is a huge over-supply of shares coming to market. That usually happens only in conjunction with a CD (Convertible Debenture). All that we've seen is one insider selling a few, and he still owns millions. Not a very substantial reason to short this.
So unless there is something untoward happening, I believe that the main thing this shorting will accomplish is to make some really cheap shares available to those who WANT TO OWN them.
