wakl, Good points!

Technology moves along at a phenomenal rate. A lot of good technology is quickly bypassed and superseded before it ever gets to market.

But Shrink Nano is definitely the First to Market, and they have applied for a patent. Those are two factors that are monumentally important to the final outcome.

If the Shrink Nano product moves beyond being used just for prototyping, and actually gets used in some production scenario, then we early investors are GOLDEN.

But up until last week I was thinking that this was something truly unique in the whole world, until I read this article:

The nano world of Shrinky Dinks, August 13, 2010
http://www.physorg.com/news200921093.html

So it looks like we have two disparate groups of academics engaged in some sort of race; Northwestern University vs Univ of Calif Merced.

The unspoken question is exactly who gave whom the initial idea. The answer may or may not be a deal breaker. But we're lucky that both groups are academics, because typically they don't have a clue of how to sell anything. That's not their job.

The key deciding factor in who wins may be the Shrink Nano Tool Set and not just the shrinkable materials.

However, in any case, I see no reason why Shrink Nano could not make a move to ALSO represent this other group to the marketplace. Shrink Nano is, after all, more of a sales rep and distributor, rather than a producer of tech. This type of move might even improve the situation for all parties.

Good Luck to All Longs...
