I have both Macs and PCs and it depends on what platform you want to run. Any of the web-based ones will run great on a MAC. If you want to run something like NinjaTrader, then you will have to either dual-boot to Windows or run it in a virtual desktop. I would say if you are only going to use it for the Monkinar, then just get a cheapo. If you plan on using the laptop to trade with permanently, then you have to make sure that it will support multiple monitors.
