It is clear that it is eaiser and cheaper to dump the mess into the landfill and leave it for the next generation to handle. This generation created the problem and we should be the ones to properly clean up our own mess. The only way I can see of getting this to change is to keep the pressure up. I can sneak a filled gas can into my trash dumpster and the garbage man doesn't know any different but it doesn't make it right an if my neighbors knew of it they should call the city on me. The problem is, is that if the city turns a blind eye to it then that is the real issue. I hope that all parties involved love their kids and grand kids and don't want to do things to bring harm to them.
