I don't own any shares of JBII so I haven't been following the story very close... I really don't have enough information to make a good decision about this.

There are many ways to convert trash into usable energy... The bottom line is to be able to do it at a profit. Even trash is not free of charge when you consider the handling, separation and transportation. Then there is the implementation and operating cost of conversion. So if they can do this with enough margin to justify the cost and risk then it may be a viable business.

It's a little bit analogous to turning waste cooking oil into usable fuel. People are in that business and are making money doing it. But, there is a cost before you get an end product. Like I said... I hope the stock holders make a killing on this.
