I have to say...

CMKX is a racing company. And it's a steel set racing company that much is for sure. As a racing company they have built teams in different divisions within a one year period of time. The crew chief and mechanics seem driven and the drivers they recruited are skilled.

They have come a far way from fold out tables to motorhomes. From an outdated Corvette body to the updated Monte Carlo body for better use of downforce. They apparently have grown to full or semi-sponsorship in 2-3 funny car race teams per week. It seems paint styles and schemes change regularly, and they are fully supplied with engine, chassis, tires and body parts to change as needed after each run. One late model drag motorcycle and late last season sponsered the Racing Truck series and the top truck/driver combo on the circuit. Again the same money goes to paint schemes, tires, body and engine parts after each run.
This doesn't mention the fuel, travel expenses, uniforms, family considerations and allowances, hotel accomodations, meals and liability and medical coverages which may apply or be required.

From the looks of it, CMKX Racing Company may win some rounds this year as well. Quite a mark and improvment.

How do they pay for it all week in week out - race after race - run after run??

After seeing their race financing operation run for over 2 1/2 years to the benefit of the race team and profit for a certain few others at the expense of many...the answer seems clear.

But the show must go on. From my prosepctive, unless the SEC or SFC pulls the chute on them, this will be another great year of financing for the CMKX Racing Company and a certain few.

Happy Sunday all!
