I agree somebody does know something......Millions of cannabis users!
I still can't believe in this day and age that people turn a blind eye to this miracle plant.
I don't understand how A HANDFUL people at the DEA, and FDA can go to sleep at night full well knowing that they are depriving American citizens of better health and well being.
If Prop 19 is, or is not passed, the number of Pot users is certain to remain constant. No one is going to start or stop using based on this law.
It is also a shame that actual dispensary owners, due to their own greed, do not want to see Prop 19 go forward. They would rather sit and collect all the money for themselves, while the cities they are set up in crumble around them, because they cheat taxes. This makes them no better than the smugglers.
They are just street level dealers in my eyes, who might see profit erode because people can grow their own.
What's missing here is the true scientific and medicinal value of this one plant. There are tesimonials to this value EVERYWHERE. Hopefully, through rational discussion and scientific facts, the table will turn. The vail of fear will be lifted and cannabis will be rescheduled for research, many lives and quality of lives will be saved, without side effects!
Amazing how just a few completely narrow minded views can control so many lives. Before I die I want to see Cannabis Science products in Pharmacies where they belong. I still got some time, but my patience for outright ignorance is wearing thin.
Here is a completelely true story and my reason for this rambling post:
I called my mother yesterday, She is living in Florida, supposed to be retired, but I can't drag her out of that damn' Wal-Mart. Anyway I told her that I had hit big on this stock, and that I bought a bunch of shares for her as well, and (If things go right) she might have enough to leave her job now. She was genuinely excited when I started talking numbers right up until the point where I stated what the company does (CBIS). The phone went instantly dead. Called back, no answer.
Ten minutes later, my wife's cell rings, Its her Mother. She called to warn her that I might be involved in some kind of drug deal!! OMFG, we could not believe what we were hearing from these two ol' bitties (Love ya ma's).
Needless to say, we had that drug talk with our parents that I guess we should have had 30 years ago...It's all good now. After I told them that no one would be tapping the phone LOL
My point is that these are the barriers that need to be broken down. I had no idea that my own mother had this fear instilled into her, but she was still willing to listen to me. She probably would have not listened to anyone else. This is what our government has done to my parents, made sheep of them through fear.
We have to stop, stand up, and demand our rights. Our health and well being are the most basic of all human rights and they are being denied by own own government due to complete ignorance of scientific fact.
Sorry for the soap box treatment........but enough is enough. When things do change, I'll be proud to say that I owned CBIS back when it was just a dream. The reality is limitless.
