They would not have gotten this far without it, believe it or not the failures at Santa Ana really did not bother investors that much, the dilution however did especially when the PPS finally went sub penny and it appeared they were still a ways from a commercial PBR. Seeing an asset keeps interest no matter how well it works in the initial stages, it is merely hope that strings them along. That is the whole point "look at the shiny thing here and pay no attention to your evaporating equity".
