Let me give you my thoughts on that Briggsy. As you said your bank only allows you a maximum of 1 million shares to be bought at a time. Were your buy orders for all or nothing, or, any amount of? If your orders were for all or nothing, my guess is, as there were only 3 MMs left at 9 before the close, between the 3 left, none had a least 1 million for sale. How many times have we seen false walls with 6-7 MMs sitting at a certain PPS, Then as we see some buying pressure, some move to higher ground and others are taken out with a 5000 share sale. These MMs need to only have a minimum of 5000 shares available for sale on the ask at a time, and if watching level 2 and not knowing that fact, many watchers think a wall will stop the increase in PPS, when in fact, it is shown as such to slow down the buying or get people to see that and sell at the bid so they can make a tiny profit and run. I hope this bit of insight helps.
