Same here re.. respect but ( and I do not know Newfie exploration history ) I would doubt what you just wrote about Voisey's Bay. I know Robert Friedland personally and the history of Diamondfields. He put those prospectors up there looking for diamond geology and as soon as they got settled in they walked onto the discovery outcrop and went WOW !!!! They spotted it as a nickel discovery IMMEDIATELY. This is why I doubt that it was walked over time and time again before they came onto it. Tell me I'm wrong. I've seen many nickeliferous gossans. An experienced guy CAN"T miss them. Thanks.
