No they don't thats crap. They can sell the assets for cash and they used notes as a way of payment.. Apartment people have a hard time understanding notes, from what I understand. So that could be an issue here. For what it is worth an in case one doesn't know, Mortgages are notes.. Dollar bills are notes..
