Pazian was definitely not the man. His track record says he would have spent more money much more rapidly than Tom. The people who knew him here in Chicago say that he was a real marketer, but extremely profligate with money. Sky boxes everywhere - if you get my point.

The Ameritech people (who purchased his company) weren't too impressed with his management skills. I spoke with some of them directly.

More importantly, there have always been rumors that Pazian was ousted because he attempted a coup against Tom. He and the law firm he found shortly after the SEC acted were in (and out) in a flash! The 10Qs say he was fired for cause and he hasn't sued yet. ... eom
