Cannabis is still illegal in Australia, but Sativex is about to go on sale here so I gather that any tincture form of medicine from CBIS would ride on the back of that approval. Currently, there is about to be a trial getting underway in the Nimbin Valley for cannabis cafes that would primarily cater to med use but also cover controlled rec use. There is a fascinating discussion on this trial at the Nimbin Hemp Embassy Forum here: http://www.hempembassy.net/forums/Cannabis-and-the-Law/The-first-steps-in-the-move-towards-the-regulation%2C-taxation-and-control-of-Cannabis-in-Australia./9,1328,0,0,0,0,0 (you may need to register to view). Change IS coming to Australia but all eyes are on the US and no action here will be taken at a Federal level until then.
Dr Bob made many many valuable contacts here in Australia in the medical cannabis field. It was those contacts that resulted in some special genetics being donated to CBIS by one of Australia's best breeders.
