WINDPOWER INNOVATIONS, INC. (http://www.windpowerinnovationsinc.com/) (PINK SHEETS: WPNV), a wind power infrastructure and smart grid solutions company, today announces talks with the State of Oregon and the City of Astoria regarding efforts to enhance alternative energy job creation, and to bring much needed new jobs to the State of Oregon and its local economies.

“Renewable energy is key not only to long-term issues, such as the environment and national security, but also for the immediate need to create jobs in Oregon and Clatsup County,” says John Myers, President and CEO of WindPower Innovations.
