RLAB news - RLAB in Talks to License the Billy Martin's (R) Western Brand
NEW YORK, NY, Oct 13, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Real American Brands, Inc., a non-reporting public company (PINKSHEETS: RLAB) confirmed rumors today that "the company is in talks to license the Billy Martin's brand name to an investor group whose name and reputation are well known in the apparel industry" said Doug Newton, CEO of RLAB, and founder of the 33 year old Billy Martin's brand.
Newton said he cannot divulge the name of the investor group, "but they are the kind of experienced marketing partner in whose hands we would entrust the Billy Martin's brand, where the prospects are excellent for significant sales growth and royalty revenues for RLAB which owns 100% of all Billy Martin's assets in the US and worldwide."
In other news, Newton said "RLAB has continued to turn down offers of cash in exchange for new issuances of stock, because we are committed to holding RLAB's share base below 200 million shares, as we reported three months ago. We are presently at 167 million shares, of which 80 million shares are in the public float."
