ya UL labeling is important, im in the electrical field, i honestly didnt know you could put up any kind of electrical stuff that doesnt have the label on it i kinda thought it was required but it says they're not required on street lights....anyway its not really that big of a deal kind of a joke to me for a PR to state they passed, like i said im in the electrical field, anything you own in your house that is a electrical installation or plugs in somewhere will have a sticker or stamp on it, i mean everything is labeled UL...they run all kinds of tests on things to make sure they're safe etc. i think its required, i didnt know street lights didnt need it, id assume they had to have it, anyway the news is a joke, UL is just a inspection of the product which any peice of electrical has stamped on it somewhere...
