me one tired sugar....
hi...
I had breakfast at 5 am in a dallas airport...
I had lunch at Union Station in Washington DC
I had dinner (late) in Fort Worth...
in between I did trains, planes, taxis and 4 wonderful hours of interviews with representitives of the Negro Leagues museum, and all of them were the sweetest men in the world.
I even talked to one of the few surviving players, Buck O'Neil, who is all of 93 years young. He decided that "Sugar" was a better name for me than Jackie... (He said it more like "schuga" and it was just priceless).
alrighty.... I haven't slept in 41 hours so the fact right now is "schuga" needs a little sleep...
