It is still possible that the company decided to go ahead and change the symbol anyway. Sort of a fresh start if you will.

I can't see any other reason why shares would be showing up under a new symbol. A broker would not just arbitrarily change the symbol. They would have to be getting that instruction from the TA.

"Sort of" is harmless "Sort of". Is a filler. But sometimes, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
