I basically like him because he's a doomsayer like me (at least long term). Eventually the "cows have to come home to roost". And, of course, there is the old "misery loves company" analogy. But, he is ALWAYS sure that next month is the end of the world and has been preaching this since pre Y2K. I basically tune him out now. Anyone can recant the EOTW mantra. We all know it by heart. I'm far more interested in those people that are not normally freaked, who suddenly are - whomever they may be. The end of the world will never happen until it first becomes obvious to at least some people who do not presently believe it. That's when you really know you have trouble IMO.
