tex - i'll have to disagree with you on this one. if indeed NVEI does announce their own speed and distance numbers after this next live wire test in maine i think the share price will move, hopefully dramatically.

my reasons for that are as follows:

1) i think there's plenty of NVEI money on the sidelines waiting for some good reason from the company to buy back in.
2) i think there's still plenty of speculative investors out there that are willing to risk doing a little front running buying knowing that after this test the next step is to get that 3rd party verification you spoke of.
3) current NVEI management is smart enough to realize that if they come out and say this technology works and here's how fast and how far it goes and they then turn it over for carrier trials and it DOESN'T perform exactly as stated they have just committed business suicide. and i don't think cooper, ketch and their advisors are interested in becoming involved in a scenario like that.
4) NVEI now has some of the best and brightest minds in the world working on this technology. they have also mentioned on several occassions how proud and confident they are in their testing procedures and equipment. because of this i feel confident they feel they will be able to back-up any claims they make after this next real-world test.

obviously third party verification of the technology will be an important event. but i still feel there are enough speculative investors out there to cause the price to move up based solely on the results of this next round of tests. stay tuned, we should find out one way or the other in the not so distant future.
