MonkeyDog: I am relatively new to this stock and I certainly do not know the intricacies of patent law, but I have spent my 66 years as an owner of various Companies and investing in Real Estate. It only strikes me that if this is a real dog fight and Moore and JPL are slipping it to us and trying to be a provocateur, (by signing with INTEL), even if AMD does not use our technology, I imagine they (AMD) would love to have an agreement to use the technology and to stand toe to toe with their arch rival. I would think it might give the opposition (Moore and TPL and INTEL) pause to consider do they want another giant (AMD) to muddy the water and enjoin with us and profit from the outcome. If I were the opposition that would be the last thing I would want to have happen.

On the other hand, since I am not an Attorney, maybe we do not have to concern ourselves with all this posturing because this is an open and shut, black and white case, to be determined by the rule of law. I know in my past life as a businessman, the times I had to go to court, I always won strictly on the merits of the law.

On the other hand, maybe all the parties do not want this to come down to a legal decision and in that case posturing and cutting deals might get the two sides to settle out of court. It appears that Moore and JPL have decided to do just that and maybe we should do the same. Heck, we don’t have to give away the store to have a deal with AMD, just enough so that we have a powerful partner and they (AMD) will have a dog in this fight.
