In a company where there are employees and customers or others depending on the company and the services it provides there can be an arguement to preserve or save the company at the expense of it's owners to preserve those services or jobs.
In a company that provides no jobs, no services, no customers, essentially all the company has are it's owners. What else did Omda have worth preserving? By wiping out it's owners Barnett wiped out Omda not preserved it. The only one who benefited was Barnett. Your admiration is misplaced.
