Heres something I came across about the testing back then as far as how reliable it was.seventy year production history at the famous
Dome Mine at Klrkland Lake, it was noted that only about 20% of the drill
hole assays returned grades as high as those subsequently mined in the
stopes (Dean Rogers). The statistics were even worse for the stringer type
ore zones discovered later on in the course of mining.
