Dr. Seymour didn't say anything about herpes not being curable at all. He said they were working on topical treatment for oral and genital herpes, not a curative one. "And as you know the herpes virus hide out in the nerve roots and that is a whole nother project", were more or less his exact words. Nothing about being incurable, not sounding resigned at all and nothing said about HIV or Herpes not being good targets. Your hearing what you want to, versus what was really said.

I'm all for keeping things balanced, but I do expect facts to be used as a basis for debate.
