1) Does ERHC's rights extend beyond oil and gas and also to other minerals like gold?
2) If not, then how would SNP separate oil drilling costs from gold mining costs, when trying to calculate how much ERHC would owe from oil production?
3) How would you mine for gold in deep water? Take thousands of core samples? How many tons of material is found in a core sample? Let's say there's one ton of gold in a core sample. At current prices 1 ton is about 32,000 troy ounces * $1300 a troy ounce = $42 million. Wouldn't that be nice?
4) Finally, wouldn't a gold discovery along with oil and gas bring a tremendous amount of attention to the JDZ...they will need a lot of French military to safe guard what could be a deep water Fort Knox. LOL.
