Question for someone that understands the reverse split far better than I?A beyound strange developement occured and my mind is totally BLOWN?

1.Rev/split imo = usually to maintain nas. reqirements?
2.Sometimes in bb/pk markets to allow then to fall below /0001 by lowering the value of the stock by lowering holders amount of shares?
3.? a new guess = in this case = to remove this thing from public trading? = go private?

The stock is VEXDC(went from VEXE to VEXD to now VEXDC) it reversed once with a tiny float @ 1.7M had my attention so I bought and bought till I finally realised a squeeze was not gonna happen and the stock was SICK - thank God I dumped it!Today I looked at it again and to my amazement it reversed again 1 for 50 leaving a trading float of ??????? 34K and trading @$7.Anyone smarter than me please give me a hint what a co. would do this for?
