Dich, Ever think the shares "you" think you have in your account are just IOU's?

When I am placing my buys for FFGO at $0.0001, there are no restrictions, and the orders are often taking hours to fill. With 8 MM's sitting on the ask at $0.0001, my buys should be executing immediately, as they have in the past.

Since there are proclaimed sellers at $0.0001, and there are also buyers attempting to get filled at the same price, MM's do not need to "create an orderly market".

It appears at times, MM's are forced to enter a short sale for buys at the ask. But why? Why when there are so many millions of shares "claimed" to be for sale at $0.0001?

Are they selling your IOU's? Or are they just issuing another one when they finally do settle a buy?

Tic Toc
