Quality Restaurant Ventures to Open Orlando Area Sobik's Subs Unit Friday

Quality Restaurant Ventures, Inc., franchisor of Sobik's Subs sandwich restaurants, has announced that a Sobik's Subs Express unit will open Friday in Casselberry, Fla.

Dan Patterson, President of Sobik's, said the restaurant will open inside a Citgo gas station at the corner of Red Bug Lake Road and State Road 436. Patterson said the store is located on a major highway with plenty of parking and a huge sign. "This Sobik's will be inside a very busy c-store," Patterson said. "The owner has spent a lot of money to update the store's look, and we've built a fantastic looking Express unit inside."

Sobik's Subs continues to expand in the Orlando market. Eleven units are scheduled to open in the area by the end of the year, a growth rate of 33 percent. "We couldn't be more pleased with our growth this year," said Patterson. "And we thought last year was phenomenal."

Sobik's Subs has been in the submarine sandwich business for 35 years in Central Florida. Quality Restaurant Ventures' affiliate company Ultimate Franchise Systems, Inc. currently has investments in approximately 595 franchises in 30 states. These brands include Gator's Dockside Restaurants, Jreck Subs, Inc., Beverly Hill Weight Loss, Obee's Subs, Central Park Hamburgers, Li'l Dino's Deli and Grille, Famous Uncle Al's Hot Dogs, Westshore Pizza, Sobik's Subs and New York Burrito.
