Can you move options on a daily play? must you hold for a certain time period?

Example: SDS closes at $29.00. you buy a contract as a call for January @ $32.00. The next morning we get poor economy news and the S&P starts to tank driving SDS up to $35.00 can I close that call @ $32.00 that day?

The problem I have now is that I tie up $400k on this play every day. I trade it at least once sometimes more. so it really kills my cash flow for other opportunities.
