I'll throw my two cents in here to help answer your question. Technical analysis (using charts) works the same way for everything. A chart will tell you when a promo is being run, when people are frontrunning, usually when a PR is about to be released, when a rumor is started, when a PR is released, when a pump and dump is happening, when the market makers are pulling a headfake, etc.

Most of the stocks traded on the OTCBB and pink sheets are scams plain and simple. They use equity as a means of financing (ie dumping shares). It is obvious if you look at the chart that a pump and dump occured on OMOG. The group that ran it (TC and company), while they profess to still own their shares, kept it trading within a very tight group and then ran it. If you followed the stock at that time (see the first chart I posted in the iBox) you would have noticed that it always held support with lots of buying and was always dumped on in amazing amounts when it hit resistance. This is because people with very deep pockets were playing it that way. They set the chart up to entice people. Then one day when the chart was set up just so they didn't dump at resistance and kept buying, hence the run to three cents.

Adam Barnett still has not answered my email to him inquiring about how it is that they are financing this drilling site in Panola, TX. I think AB was in on the run to .035 and maybe even dumped more into the float. That is just my opinion, but that is what the chart to me indicates.

Generally in a pump and dump you'll have someone who has a large following that is promoting the stock via messages posted on a board (ie TC on the ragingbull OMOG board). Usually when they dumped their shares is when they'll stop posting which is exactly what happened. You can see instances of it here on iHub occasionally as well.

I don't think there are very many people that see OMDA Oil and Gas as a real company that they want to invest in. Most people play it for momo. The momo is gone now leaving those that bought .01+ as stuckholders and TC and his group (probably including AB) with deeper pockets than they had before.

I would like to know if anyone who lives in Texas is anywhere near Panola county and could possibly drive out there and report as to what they found. That would be interesting to find out.
