Numbers can be decieving at times when you are only given the opportunity to see the overall picture. It's just like watching the stock market without looking at L2. You could trade millions of shares in positive territory all day then get the bid whacked at the close, and end up red. The overall picture didn't look good, but many positives could be missed because you didn't get to see all segments of the days trading session. This could be the situation with Home Depot Canada as we only see the overall picture. It's quite possible that a large percentage of locations are meeting or exceeding the goals of the company, and only a handfull of locations are pulling the overall averages down. If this is the case the correction could easily be made to increase awareness in those particular locations, and bring all locations in that chain to meeting company sales projections. This may or may not be the case, but I perfer my glass half full.
