A long wait? I feel your pain. But I'll wager I've been waiting longer than most of you have.

I'm close enough to people that know to say everything's being done that can be done.

There's no way you or I can make it happen sooner -- no amount of frustration, no amount of hoping and wishing, no amount of complaining, no ultimatums, no lines drawn in the sand, no threats to sell.

Still, we are not without power and choices. Each of us can decide to sell their shares and walk away. As for me, I will not sell one damn share, and I will pick up more if there happens to be another "fire sale" like a couple of weeks ago. I believe this deal will happen, and longs will be dancing in the streets.

Now that Ramadan has come and gone, people are getting frustrated again. People were "SURE" it would happen right after Ramadan. Who decided that it would? I'm in contact with many of the pinciples involved with this deal, and I can tell you that not one of them said, "it will happen as soon as Ramadan ends".

So guess what I'm hearing now? "It's gonna happen for sure in October. The NOC has made big announcement during October in past years." Don't believe it. Maybe they think if they make enough predictions, one of them will be right!

So now another bunch of investors are going to grasp onto the latest prediction. Who predicted it? No one I know. Probably some Flaky Jake wanting to appear "in the know" to his investor buddies. Don't get sucked in. Unless his name is Shokri Ghanem he doesn't have a clue! IT WILL HAPPEN WHEN IT HAPPENS.

If you were my best friend, the best and most reliable information I could give you is: I believe it will happen. Circumstances and developments have led people close to the deal to think it could literally be ANY TIME. I know of no further loose ends or undone prerequisites remaining for Axis to complete. It's in the NOC's hands to decide the timing for our announcement which will be grouped with 2 dozen or more other company deals So WHEN will it happen? I don't know, but I'm damned sure not going to sell right now.
