I don't know, but when the buy,sell,unknown numbers are almost equal, and the ask and bid numbers are the same for 15 to 20 minutes at a time,I think that there is a lot of covering and balancing between the brokers to avoid any sudden news that might appear over night or over the weekend.

It's been happening for the last three weeks or so. It was going on just before the SPA news.
